Over the last decade we’ve seen the rise of the super SUV: powerful, large, luxurious crossovers with supercar pedigree and room for the whole family. Models like the Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Urus and Ferrari Purosangue to name a few. Naturally, Aston Martin is also in on the action with its own super SUV, the DBX.
The DBX first arrived five years ago with its unique blend of practicality and sports car handling. It had as much character as the Vantage but with space for the big weekly supermarket shop – a real win-win! Yet, Aston Martin didn’t stop there. It later upped the ante with the DBX707, upgrading what was already a very fast and sporty SUV to give it a whopping 707 horsepower. Now, Aston Martin is at it again. In this video Rory gets behind the wheel of the DBX S, the most powerful version of the DBX to date. It’s louder, faster and more aggressive than before, but has Aston Martin gone too far?
