Despite SMMT figures showing the van market in slight decline – driven by falling pick-up truck demand and electric van uptake falling still further behind the mandated 24 per cent target – the 2026 Commercial Vehicle Show was preceded by a flurry of last-minute confirmations of launches from established and new manufacturers alike. And you know what that means: more brands, more vans, more user choice!
New vehicles from familiar faces such as Ford, Isuzu, Renault, KGM and Iveco were joined by new vehicles and range expansions from new entrants like Farizon and Kia. We also saw clear declarations of “we’re here” from companies like Chery and Foton... and even Stellantis returned! We’re not saying the show as it was is back, but it felt close. There was way more buzz, good footfall, great chats with industry partners and friends, interesting new vehicles and more than a few concept vehicles to gawp at. You can rest assured we’ll be adding any interesting bits that get thrown our way over the course of the show to this article. Let’s get into it.

Kia: PV5 electric van range expansion
After its show-stopping launch of the company’s first ever electric commercial vehicle at the 2025 show, Kia returned to showcase two new PV5 Cargo variants – L1/H1 and L2/H2 – and announce the first five approved UK conversion partners. The PV5 Cargo range now feels more comprehensive with buyers able to choose from L1/H1, L2/H1 and L2/H2 versions, alongside new conversion options such as a compact Lightweight Tipper version, fridge van, or Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) conversion. Order books are likely to open for the PV5 Cargo L1/H1 in July, while orders for the Cargo L2/H2 are planned for Q4 2026. PV5 Cargo will also receive some updates for the 2027 model, including driver seat lumbar support and a new arm rest in two-seat models, a new composite bulkhead, and a three-seat option (no arm rest). Responding to feedback on the debut model, a new roof antenna design will bring down the van’s height to 1.89 metres to help it get into height-restricted car parks. UK pricing, availability and further spec details are set to be released in June. We’ve previously reported on the upcoming PV5 Crew version, sadly not on the stand this year, which will be offered with the Standard Range 51.5kWh battery only with a sliding bulkhead that deploys a second row of seats.

Renault: electric van range and Trafic Graphite Edition
Renault presented its full light commercial vehicle range at the 2026 CV Show marking the company’s clear focus on electrification, conversion capability and practical solutions for business users. The centrepiece of the stand was the production-ready Trafic E-Tech electric, making its UK debut in its final form. Another highlight was the Trafic Graphite Edition, a UK-exclusive special edition built on the existing Trafic platform featuring some neat styling and premium equipment – it really is sharp and adds a new trim level above the well-equipped Extra Sport trim. It adds Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Warning, black 17-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, side steps and exclusive Graphite Edition decals, and a Slate Grey paint scheme. It will be available in short- and long-wheelbase panel van versions with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions, with prices starting from £37,500. Also on the stand was the company’s Estafette concept van alongside current models of the Kangoo, Master and Trafic passenger and panel vans.

Ford: Transit City and Explorer Van
Ford continues its unbroken and commanding presence at the CV Show with a typically packed stand filled with vehicles from its range. Centre stage was taken up by the new Transit City an all-electric van aimed squarely at urban businesses. It will provide drivers with a max range up to 157 miles, rapid charging, and a 1,275 kg settled in its max 8.5 cubic metres load volume. It’s set to be available in one kitted-out trim level and three body styles (L1H1, L2H2 and Chassis Cab). Prices will sit close to the £30K mark (probably under), which will keep it competitive. Also on display was the Explorer Van, a car-derived commercial vehicle with its back seats replaced by a 1.23 cubic metre load space capable of carrying a payload of up to 650 kg. It will provide a max range of up to 373 miles with the option of a rear-wheel or all-wheel drivetrain. Various equipment packs will also be available to kit out the vehicle for specific use cases, such as sanitation stations, beacons, lamps, cargo nets and more. There’s even a wheel pack to replace the alloy wheels from the car version with steel wheels featuring torque indicators on the nuts to give it a more commercial and durable look.

Farizon: new V7E electric van
Following the launch of its SV large van at the 2025 edition of the show, Farizon has used the 2026 show to launch the all-new V7E medium-sized electric van. Built on the company’s skateboard chassis and using drive-by-wire technology, the V7E provides a 6.95 cubic metre load volume, a payload of up to 1,338kg, and a low 500 mm load lip height. Keeping things simple, V7E is available in a single body size with a choice of three paint finishes, one equipment-packed trim level, and the choice of a 50 kWh or a 67 kWh battery (the largest of which offers up to 204 miles of range). We were told that the new V7E has undergone rigorous testing to justify its five-year / 120,000-mile warranty. It’s also backed by a growing network of franchise dealers, nationwide maintenance, and service and repair coverage provided by the AA’s network of mobile vehicle technicians for four years. Prices start at £28,000, excluding delivery charge, VAT, ZEVG, VED and first registration fee.

Chery Commercial Vehicle: Delivan debut
Chery Commercial Vehicle used the show to launch its Future Super Commercial Vehicle (FSCV) strategy marking the global debut of Delivan and its electric commercial vehicle concepts. This launch confirms Chery Commercial Vehicle’s entry into the UK and European markets as an OEM with the aim of providing an end-to-end solution spanning vehicles, charging, servicing, telematics and digital programmes, as well as aftermarket, warranty and lifecycle support. We saw a lineup of Delivan concept vehicles including what looked like a concept of a medium-to-large van, and ‘micro-cargo’ and ‘robot-cargo’ concept vehicles. The two that looked most ready to work were the latter two vehicles, with the single-seat ‘micro-cargo’ concept designed for multi-drop urban operations in cities, and the autonomous ‘robot-cargo’ concept for use in more controlled environments such as campuses, warehouses and city delivery zones.

Foton: C1 electric van
Foton recently confirmed the appointment of International Motors (IM) – already representing companies like GWM, Mitsubishi and Isuzu in the UK – as its official UK distributor and showed off three versions of its C1 van on the IM stand at CV Show. We saw three versions of the C1, including short- and long-wheelbase versions and a high-roof version. Key features (which we will report on more fully as UK specs are confirmed) include a 66.67 kWh battery for a potential 270-mile range, a 125kW electric motor, 5.75m turning radius, and a seven cubic meter cargo area. It’s an interesting looking van with low-slung headlights and a swooping front end. Most interesting is the inclusion of a lined roof in the load space and metal load liner (which we will have to confirm if they’re going to remain in UK versions).

Iveco: New eJOLLY and eSuperJolly electric vans
Now the sixth company to use Stellantis electric van platforms, Iveco used the show to debut its eJolly and eSuperJolly electric vans. eJolly is a medium van very similar to vehicles like the Vauxhall Vivaro Electric with a height of just under 1.9 metres allowing entry into most car parks, while still delivering a payload capacity of up to 1,175 kg. Two battery options are available: a 49 kWh pack offering a range of up to 140 miles, and a 75 kWh pack extending that range to up to 218 miles. The eJolly is also set to be available in a range of specialist conversions such as a refrigerated van or outfitted as a mobile workshop. Meanwhile, the eSuperJolly is larger and similar to the Vauxhall Movano Electric. Its 110 kWh battery offers a range of up to 260 miles, and the van provides up to 17 cubic metres of load volume and a payload of up to 1.4 tonnes. Both vans will feature the full suite of safety systems that netted them gold Euro NCAP safety ratings.

KGM: new Musso pick-up truck
Alongside the excellent Musso EV and its other commercial vehicles, KGM surprised us all by announcing that CV Show 2026 would see the latest-generation diesel pick-up ahead of its UK launch in Q3. Positioned above the existing Rebel and Saracen versions, the new Musso Rhino features a new front end and higher driving position, and an upgraded cabin with better materials and connectivity for an overall more refined feel. The new model will be powered by KGM’s 2.2-litre diesel engine, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and selectable four-wheel drive as standard. The Rhino offers a towing capability of up to 3.5 tonnes and a payload of just over 1,000 kg. Safety systems include Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Intelligent Speed Warning, a 3D around-view monitoring system, and wireless smartphone integration. Off-road capability comes from its four-wheel drive system, a limited-slip differential and Clear Sight Ground View technology.

Isuzu: new D-Max powertrains and models
Hot on the heels of our recent drive and review of the new D-Max EV (which was on the Isuzu stand), Isuzu used the show to launch a new 2.2-litre diesel engine version of its stalwart pick-up truck. This new engine replaces the 1.9-litre unit and sees the introduction of a new eight-speed automatic transmission and six-speed manual option. The truck features a shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive system that allows switching between high gear two- and four-wheel drive at speeds of up to 62 mph. A low-gear four-wheel drive mode, coupled with rear differential lock and the excellent ‘Rough Terrain Mode’ is standard across the range. Body styles on offer are Single Cab, Extended Cab and Double Cab split over the trims. Entry-level Utility model is available in Single and Extended Cab, while the DL20 specification comes exclusively as a Double Cab. The DL40 specification can now be ordered as an Extended Cab and Double Cab, and the top-of-the-range V-Cross offered as a Double Cab. The new diesel models come with a five-year / 125,000-mile warranty, UK and EU roadside assistance, and will be available from July 2026 with prices starting from £33,495.00.

Fiat: Tris electric micromobility tricycle
Fiat Professional, as part of Stellantis’ return to the CV Show, announced that its electric micromobility vehicle – Tris – would make its first UK appearance at this year’s show… and it did! We previously reported on speculation the Tris would be available in the UK, covering how it’s designed specifically for urban last‑mile deliveries, has a three‑wheeled ultra‑lightweight design, and provides a 56‑mile range alongside low running costs. The model we saw (and sat in) was a Cargo Box variant featuring a 2.25-cubic metre load space and capacity for two standard euro pallets. We were told that Tris is currently “being considered for launch in the UK”, with the company no doubt using interest at the show as an indicator of whether or not to.

Maxus: Full vehicle range and a diesel Deliver 7
The Maxus stand, although right at the back of the main hall, was huge with a full-on dirt track running around its outer edge. On this track were multiple versions of the eTerron 9 electric pick-up truck doing circuits filled with journos and attendees along for the ride. The stand was filled with most of the company's vehicles, with cars, vans and coaches all present, including a Deliver 7 medium-sized van we were told was there because the van would soon be available with a diesel engine. It feels like the company was really out to make a statement of the huge range of vehicles they can offer, and it certainly did.
