Smart Buying costs £99 + VAT per month. You can buy or advertise unlimited vehicles for this cost, unlike traditional auctions.

If a vehicle doesn’t match the seller’s description, and you can’t renegotiate or strike a deal with the seller, then you are within your rights to walk away from the vehicle at point of collection. If you have already taken delivery of the vehicle then any disputes must be resolved between you and the seller directly.

We currently have a classified advert format, where you can email the seller or call them to purchase the vehicle. We are now introducing Buy it now adverts and testing our new online auctions. You can find more information and guides on these on the advert itself once in the platform.

All sellers on the platform have now been vetted and must be VAT registered. Buyers can favourite, block or complain about sellers. You can see how many other buyers have favourited that seller. We will investigate all complaints if sellers don’t adhere to our terms and conditions.

We have the largest range of stock available from a variety of sources. Smart Buying gives you access to buy stock from lease companies, franchise groups, trade sellers, auction houses and private sellers advertising on autotrader.co.uk. Many buyers find our margin filters and market data invaluable when sourcing from private sellers especially.
